Coined by Indian filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri in Urban Naxals: The Making of Buddha in a Traffic Jam (2018), a book about his film Buddha in a Traffic Jam (2014). Referring to the group's alleged ties with communist militants for left-wing beliefs, support for socialism, and hostility to Hindu nationalism.
