    Insufficiently decided; too undecided.

    • For New Historicism, words are so saturated with cultural weight and hence ideology that they block hermeneutic freedom, whereas for deconstruction they are so underdecided that they resist reading.
    • If you are undecided or underdecided, realize that you have a great advantage over students "who know for sure" what they want to do.
