Definitions

  1. The state of being sexually and romantically attracted to members of more than one gender.

    • Many straights could not consider gay activity, and many gays couldn't possibly consider straight. So they are compulsive. They arbitrarily rule out even experimentation that would lead to plurisexuality.
  2. Any romantic or sexual orientation which includes attraction to more than one gender.

    • Bisexuality is thought to be the most prevalent plurisexuality but other identities, like pansexuality, are also common.
    • In participants' experience, youth sexuality was associated with risk for women and girls, with plurisexualities, particularly bisexuality, being equated with promiscuity and health risk
