    • Opportunity classes. — These are classes for retarded overgrown pupils. Many of these children come to our city from rural areas where their education has been irregular.
    • Mildly retarded children, who are usually termed "educable mentally retarded" formed the largest group of handicapped children in Alberta. Most of them attended "Opportunity Classes".
