notch count

noun

Etymology

From the English idiom notch on one's bedpost.

Definitions

  1. The number of sexual partners of a given individual.

    • Guys who've only ever had long-term partners or a limited notch-count often have boring, bland, quick, vanilla sex.
    • Don’t reveal your notch count. If a woman asks you how many girls you’ve been with, just say something like, “What, today? Not many...” or “If I told you, I’d have to kill you.”
    • Many times a woman with a higher notch count is more difficult to get into bed with than a woman who has had few sexual partners.
