  1. A tendency of juniors in high school to slack off as if they were seniors with senioritis.

    • One of the main causes of junioritis is procrastination and burnout stemming from the idea of the daunting future.
    • Seniors are not the only ones who experience a drop in motivation once the second semester begins. As a junior, I contend that junioritis is a struggle as well and that it’s perhaps even more dangerous than senioritis.
    • There’s now freshmanitis, sophomoritis, and junioritis.
