  1. A torch (flashlight) worn on the head, thus leaving the hands free.

    • Unless you’re glamping – which, let’s face it, bears little relation to camping bar the fact that the two words rhyme – there are a few bits of essential kit you’ll need: sleeping bag and mat, tent, headtorch and suncream.
    • Of course, the wires and terminals are not colour-coded. Both are black and neither had labels. And the technicians were working at night with just their headtorches for illumination.
