    • Cupwings, also known as pygmy wren‐babblers, are very small songbirds found in Southeast Asia. Occupying the dense forest understory, cupwings generally have dark brown plumage and a very short tail.
    • The five species of cupwings in the Pnoepygidae are found in Asia, from the Himalayas through China and Taiwan, and south to Timor.
