A player-run server or world (most commonly in the context of Minecraft) with virtually no rules, allowing total freedom for actions like hacking, griefing, PvP, stealing, and exploiting, creating a chaotic "wild west" environment where survival is difficult and the goal is often to endure or exploit the lawlessness for personal gain.
- The oldest and most infamous anarchy server is 2b2t, which launched not long after Minecraft, in 2010. Now over 20 terabytes in size, its world is a nightmare frontier of deadfalls, lava flows, trashed bases, and hate speech.
